As the vintner and co-founder, John can often be found wearing the many hats that come with small business ownership, always excited to share updates about his latest batch or current project. His expertise stems from 20 years of winemaking experience combined with his professional background as a nematologist for Penn State University. This unique blend of scientific knowledge and artisanal craftsmanship shapes every wine he produces.

Drawing from his previous experience as a chemistry teacher and his lifelong enthusiasm for nature, John brings both precision and passion to the winemaking process. When he's not crafting wines or tending to the apiary, he channels his creativity into woodworking projects, enjoys peaceful nature walks, and occasionally sneaks away for some quiet time fishing. His approach to winemaking reflects a perfect balance of scientific expertise and artistic intuition, resulting in wines that truly capture the essence of the region's terroir. Every batch he creates tells the story of the land, the growing season, and his dedication to sustainable agricultural practices.
